Roma's Walter Sabatini is in London to negotiate with three clubs for the sales of Marco Borriello, Erik Lamela, and Miralem Pjanic.

Lamela to Spurs
Boriello to Fulham
Pjanic to Arsenal?

Remember, he revealed himself that he was very close to joining us 2 years ago during our last trolley dash. If its true then we're in full panic mode. I know Roma fans who desparately want this guy out since he's been very dodgy.

I'd definitely have Lamela.

THe other two, not so much.

spurs signing the better player. we signing the cheaper player. sounds plausible.

Good grief. A new rumour pops up every half hour.

I hate the way we do our transfer business - total lack of conviction

If anything all this embarrassment if going to irritate fans further.

I can imagine the headlines, should we sign this guy.

Another playmaker? we are short in that area I suppose.

Pablo Sabbag, Lamela's agent, denies that Lamela and his father are negotiating in London with Spurs.

Maybe there's hope ...

Pjanic is a decent player. Would be a good part of our season to be honest. An upgrade over Rosicky too but thats not hard these days.

Lamela would be wow. The player we missed out on when we tried for Ricky Alvarez instead of him

Wenger set to make another Pjanic buy

The names we've been linked to recently have been massively underwhelming. I actually like Pjanic but he should be signed to complement a squad not tie it together.

To not use "PJANIC ON THE STREETS OF LONDON" would be almost criminal …

"Hang Gazidis hang Gazidis hang Gazidis haaaaaang Gazidis"

Pjanic is a good player, similar to Cabaye. Would be pointless buying both but if Newcastle are being unreasonable, its a good back-up option.

I thought Pjanic was more of an attacking mid?

I think you're right in the sense that Pjanic prefers to play there, though that's true of many/most creative players. He is probably two lightweight for a midfield two but could probably play the less defensive role of the double pivot, in that sense he's positionally very similar to Jack. The similarities to Cabaye was more of a comment that both of them are passing first midfielders who like to have a crack from midfield, aren't superb in the takle but can compensate positionally etc; in short, both are low-grade Xabi Alonsos in my eyes, which is not meant as an insult. I think it's worth noting that Cabaye's best position would also probably be the no. 10 as well.
