Every other top team playing in multiple comps has a number of options at CF. Wenger is the only one that thinks it is acceptable to have only one recognised CF, even if there is a drop in quality to the second guy. Worse still we have been in the market a number of times, so we are looking for CFs but can't get a deal done. What on earth is going on with the plan? Are we solely based upon getting players in or is there some awareness that it is a numbers game as well?
Seems the club's plan is to get a top level player for a decent price or not get anyone at all. We have been walking at tightrope at CF for 2 years now and if Giroud is out till New Year then Arsene has just flushed yet another season into 4th place.
