Did he get the injury by playing on or did playing on aggravate the injury?
With no exaggeration: A 40/60 ball in Agger's favour. He went in studs up, Wilshere went in knowing he'd get battered. Wilshere fucked his ankle up, he immediately signalled to the bench and started crying because he thought he'd miss the World Cup. But then he calmed down, had some lucozade and jogged around for a while and looked fine after.
Seems to be a conflict in what England said and what Arsenal are saying. Hodgson and Wilshere both said it was just a bruise and nothing more. Arsenal have had a better look at it and see the hairline fracture. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2014/article-2574365/Jack-Wilshere-says-ankle-fine-not-injured.html?ico=sport%5Eheadlines
Anyway, good luck to him for getting back to full fitness in the 6 weeks. Hopefully Ramsey's back very quickly. Agree with those saying they'd prefer Chamberlain out wide.
