Not really Theo's fault though. He has a fantastic record in the big games whether it's scoring or assisting or just being a major threat on the counter.

Bit of a stretch to think that Chambo's going to come in and provide anything like the amount of goals and assists that Theo does.
Essentially we are relying on Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud to at least replicate their goal scoring of last season and for Ramsey, Özil, Jack to fill in for Theo's ouput.
From where then do we get the extra goals that win titles?

Don't think Chambo is gonna replace Theo's end product, but he is a natural wide player and so is Podolski. We played for 3 months with various central playmakers out wide and we were still the best team in the country.

Big loss, not end of days. We can and will cope. Would be easier if Wengie opened his wallet o'course.

It's the kind of loss that makes the difference between winning titles or not.
We were pretty much on empty attack wise before Theo came back, people were desperate for himself and Poldi to return because it was obvious we needed more.

Fuck. Just come online and fallen off my chair reading that. He was smiling and holding up signs to the Spurs fans on the way off the pitch, just seemed like it was a minor thing for 2 or 3 weeks. The way he was sitting up smiling made it seem the stretcher was unnecessary. My brother certainly didn't react like that when he had to crawl off the pitch with the same injury! Yesterday we were even saying with 9 days break maybe he'll even be ready for the next game.

Absolutely devastating for him, and the World Cup too which I guess he's just destined to never play in given what happened with the last 2 aswell. Absolutely no logical excuse to not sign a striker now. It almost feels lucky that they have all got injured during the window instead of after it closes.

Its not only a threat to the season its a threat to the rest of his career, I seriously fear for a pace player trying to return from serious knee damage as the same player.

Gnabry will be making a good few starts now on my book, as we need that pace.

Plenty of players have come back from cruciate tears without losing pace, in all sorts of different sports.

Look at what Adrian Peterson did after tearing his ACL and MCL.

Big loss on the face of things, but I think between Podolski and Gnabry, we still have the tools that Theo brings to our game. Squad looks pretty one paced though.

As long as its a straight forward ACL tear I'd be very surprised if Theo didn't make a full physical recovery.
