May be a knee jerk reaction, but we should have always had extra cover fpr Theo. Even though knee injuries aren't run of the mill, we need to stop relying on players like this.
On a separate note, this is why Walcott might not ever make the most out of his career. Lad is made of glass. He's only 24 - how many serious injuries has he had up until now? Shoulders, knees, ankle ligaments, hernias...

Ridiculous the amount of injuries he picks up 🙁
This means the world cup is probably over for him too, right? Shame, but probably a good thing for us.
Think the 'Theo is injury prone' belief is a little extreme - he played 31 games last season, 39 the season prior, and 26 the one before. That's a solid outing from a player who requires his body to be at top shape more so than nearly any other player.
But, fuck! Gnabry to the rescue

Podolski, Chamberlain, Gnabry

To me it seems like players who rely on their pace are usually on the fragile side
To repeat what I said, Wenger now has to bring in proven talent rather than a stop gap like Berbatov
Apart from his shoulder trouble he's never really had a massive injury like this has he? He picks up a lot of smaller injuries but thats part for the course with super fast forwards.
Anyway this is terrible, terrible news for us. We'd been crying out for Theo and he was in cracking form. Now we're back to relying on Giroud for most of our goals.
This is a huge blow.
Poor Theo.
He was our only consistent goal threat.
Not only do we need a signing now, we need a world class signing.
Gutted for the lad and a huge blow to our title hopes when the odds were already against us.
Still got no expectation that we will strengthen. Wenger will gamble with Ox and Gnabry.
As well as being a goal threat himself he is the player who also worked best with Giroud in terms of delivering him the kind of ball he could actually score from.
Fucking cuntbucket. Can't believe our luck. All because of a totally pointless, idiotic tackle too.
We're fucked. Season hangs in the balance if we dont buy. We're very short in numbers.
Think Cazorla will be the biggest loser in all of this, Podolski is going to have to start on the left wing in order to add some goal threat to the side.
Jack, Chambo, and Gnabry, to play right wing.
Cazorla can play on the right just fine.
Massive blow.
Just as he was finding some form, terrible news for us and the club. We have enough to make do but for all his faults Theo is a 15+ goal player for us.
Truly horrible news about Walcott. He's such an important player in the big games especially. Just... Fuck.
Crucial that Wenger signs a goal scorer now.
Its a blow, but he was essentially out for 3 months and we did fine. And that was without Poldi and Chambo too who are both back now. From his last injury against Stoke to his first start after coming back our league record was won 7, drew 2, lost 1.
