The knee was always going to be stitched up and the "concern" still remains. Article is vapor.

If he needs stitches on the knee I think he'll be out for a while longer. Surely the stitches are very likely to burst/break when he moves?

Far too many examples over the years. Playing Pires vs Newcastle in 2002 despite knowing he was 'in the red' and being advised not to. Playing Wilshere several times while he was in the red during his debut season. Did the same last season before he eventually broke down at WHL. Played Denilson 90 mins on back to back days in pre season, overplaying him to the point of a stress fracture in his back. Playing Fabregas with a torn hamstring because he desperately wanted a result, only for him to tear it again. Diaby. I can go on and on.
