I've had hernia surgery before (twice), its keyhole, not especially traumatic and i felt back to 100% after a couple of weeks.
They've replaced his stomach

If it's what I think it is, the doc will put gauze over the area and stitch the healthy tissue to the gauze so it heals really quick. 3 weeks sounds right.

I've heard of disolvable stitches before but not a dressing in your stomach.
I don't think they use it for stomachs actually. Presumably they jut stitch it there and then remove it, along with the stitches, at a later date. We need more doctors on this forum.
Wenger says Cazorla will be back after international break. Looks like we are being cautious. Ramsey and Flamini should fine for tomorrow.
