Yes, but I think it's a stupid plan.

Yes, but I think it's a stupid plan.
What plan do you see?
Throwing the majority of our funds on one marquee player who we probably won't get. I still think we're going to get a solid striker signing before the window closes, but it's probably going to be someone we could have tied up months ago if Liverpool stand their ground. Michu or Benteke perhaps. Would have been good compliments to an amazing midfield signing or two.
What about other parts of the team? Where is 'the plan' there?
I think we were definitely going for a big bang striker signing plus some talented youngsters and a back-up or two.
Now that we're not getting Suarez, I see us buy only youngsters and some average to good squad players.
Nobody spectacular for the first team
i'm pretty sure that whenever dick law goes to get a cup of coffee, all our transfer activities are put on hold until he's back in his office. his to-do list is exactly one item long.
what do these guys do for 40 hrs every week for 50 weeks a year? i'd love to work there and get paid to do nothing all year.
Would people prefer us signing marica and Barry or just fuck it, lets go with akpom and zelalem?
Barry for me, but not Marica.
We need talented kids like him to rebuild our youth team. Would be a welcome addition.

-----Wilshere - Ramsey
------- Chamberlain
Would be very stupid if he moved at this stage.
Sign him now and loan him out until he's ready. Like what Chelsea are doing with Courtois, whose value has just about doubled from the time they picked him up.
Cuts in well and his finishing is good but not nearly ready and we have wide young players like gnabry who looks similar in style and could likely do a similar job at PSV.

We would want him to be homegrown at the club though, he'd have to spend 3 years by the age of 21 at the club and he's already 17.
Fuck the home grown just import it from holland, they do it better there.

The 2 Belgian Chelsea bought from Genk is going to be huge in their future. De Bruyne is an excellent player too
Really like De Bruyne. Was hoping Dortmund would nab him this summer.
