With a Suarez we still haven't closed the talent gap to even Manchester United. But it puts us closer. And it gives us the ability to win those countless games where our midfielders are running in circles and Giroud is not able to create shots for himself. Fair point. Not much of a difference between those, and without him I think we'll still nap 4th somehow.

I had thought we had enough to build on the performances at the end of last season, but they were mostly impressive in defence tbf. The attack hasn't been functioning for a long time and I think I'd just forgotten/ repressed that. The complete lack of creativity on sunday brought it all back.
