My thoughts on yesterday:
Podolski is and always will be a player who can bang 'em in for a team that works like a machine (eg. Germany). He is very effective as a wide finisher. When it comes to a side that depends on a creativity from deep or for forwards to create something themselves he can struggle for 3 games and be brilliant for 1. He needs workhorses behind him who allow him the freedom to stay forward and feed balls to his path.
Rosicky was brilliant and not just aesthetically. He was electric. Only problem i have with him is that he often chooses to play nifty one-twos instead of trying to execute a harder, but a more effective killer pass. And too often its not even his fault that those those one-twos dont come off - many players around him are weaker technically or mentally to figure out what to do.
Sagna is a warrior. I wish he would get the extension because we need him 100%.
If we dont upgrade the ST position then we will fight for 3rd max, most likely 4th-5th again. No cups. Giroud alone is not enough.
Ramsey is well up for it and Jack is finding his step and passing angles. Just needs to work hard.
Kos is an absolute beast. Been one of my favourite players in the club for past 3 years. Such a delight to watch him boss around the field.
