Until they actually make it into the first team, their all the same to me.

Kristoffer Olsson did a short interview with a Swedish tv channel the other day where he (apparently) said he was tired of playing in the U21 team. It was implied that he was disappointed over missing out on Emirates Cup. He felt he had measured up to the others in training during the New York trip and then, bam, cold shoulder. Hard to say whether there's something to it or if he's just another one of those impatient kids.

He only has a year left with us in any case, so I assume he'll leave next summer. Gotta wonder why we didn't loan him out sooner. If nothing else because a more experienced player has a bigger transfer value.

Yep strange. He's very talented but won't make it here. Too much competition in the first team and perhaps the timing isn't right for him.

Big year for guys like gnabry, Joel, yaya, and ryo. If they don't show they are up to scratch they will be shipped out.

Our status as a club is changing and as a consequence our demands are that much higher

Zelalem seems to be the one wenger rates the highest

Aye, it's been obvious since day one that Olsson wouldn't make it here.

He seemed to really loathe the idea of playing for the U21 team for another year though, and our recent track record would probably prove him right. It's an utter waste of time for players who are past a certain point in their development.

Never get why we don't loan players out more. Olsson, Gnabry and some others could have really benefited with decent loans. In the end they kept playing in u21 and their level goes down instead after a certain age.
