Akpom has been recalled from his loan spell apparently. Strange one considering we're out of the Uefa youth league.

Aneke has been tearing it up recently on loan, scored quite a few goals in the last few games.

Wenger said that Bellerin is replacing Kos in the squad, so Jenks and Bellerin will probably be our defensive cover on the bench.

The first leg of the FA Youth Cup Semi final has just started, between Arsenal and Chelsea, for anyone that wants to get a chance to see Zelalem, Crowley and Akpom etc in action. Streams are available online.

While the second leg is live on ITV4, next Thursday.

I was meant to be going to it, but it apparently was sold out before the 4pm box office deadline.

0-0 at half time. I missed the first 35, had to pick the son up from training, but it looks as if we try to play on the counter attack. Wish Wenger would try the same against Chelsea! :mad:

He's a different beast to the likes of Afobe who's been hyped in the past. He has the physical and technical attritubes to make it here and he seems to have what can't be learned - a nose for goal.

Horrible defending by Zelalem again, the following cross leading to Chelsea 2-1.

Chelsea go in front 2-1. Great save initially from Vickers. Midfield seems non-existant at times. Zelalem has been going through the motions. Chelsea's no. 8 (Loftus-Cheek?) has been dominating him all game.
