Huddersfield needed a replacement for Mooy and there won't have been many players available to them with that level of ability. Also, from a coaching point of view they are probably not too far off the Bundesliga style due to influence of former managers were Wagner and Siewert.
Having been injured for a lot of his last loan spell, I doubt there would be many takers in the top flights abroad who would reserve a creative spot in the team for him. At least he is getting games at Huddersfield and getting used to playing in a more physical division.
