True enough, but he shouldn't be on our bench either, it's not enough. Keeping him at Arsenal would have been detrimental to him and I think it's good that we at least tried to secure a good loan. Leeds aren't looking like the answer either at the moment though. We need to be ruthless in January if the situation hasn't improved. I don't know if there are penalties you have to pay if you break a loan deal without mutual agreement, but it would be worth it for the sake of Eddie's development.
Bamford is a horrid player, but you can see why he gets the nod. He has everything Bielsa rates in a forward. His dream striker is basically Olivier Giroud. Bamford missed open goal from three yards again against West Brom, but by all accounts he ran defenders ragged and worked hard all game. For some managers that's always going to count more than actual end product.
