This compilation showed me a side of Iwobi i hadn't really picked up on.
The defender made a hash of the clearance, but still great imagination and technique from John-Jules.

That kid is going places. Loved him in preseason. Freddie seems to be a fan too.
Yeah, I like him too. Has an air of intelligence in the way he plays. May not be the flashiest but has the technical skill to hold up and link play extremely well from limited viewing. Reminds me a bit of Giroud to be honest.
That's utter class

It’s Giroudesque. Quick thinking.

Make up your mind Claude.

It's Giroudesque. They... play the same position?
I’m comparing to this, for example
We know 😉
More Ramsey-esque to me than Giroud like....but a lovely goal.
ESR looks lively, Balogun looked good, and who's this LB that was storming up and down?
Holding looked a little slow and was caught ball watching.
Tolaji Bola is the left back.
Who is the keeper? Dreadful for both goals

Karl Hein, young Estonian 'keeper. Mart Poom had a lot to do with him getting to our academy.
He's still only 17 and it was his first game with the U23 side, so I think he has that excuse. Hilariously shite for both goals though. 😆
Wow that positioning from our keeper. Even at youth level its ridiculously bad.
The lad could have had a better debut. 🙂
I googled him though and he seems pretty highly rated. Picked us over United apparently. It sounded like he would have debuted for the U23 even sooner if he hadn't fractured his wrist earlier this year.
Speaking of youth players, Nketiah starts for Leeds against Stoke tonight in the league cup. The game is on in 35 minutes. I think there will be streams available.
Wonder goal is a bit too much
Bit hyperbole for sure. 😆
It would have been a really good goal though and no one could have accused it of being a tap-in.
