I am a big fan of the āother thingsā a player does. The things that add value or indicate that they are able or willing to do more than their bread and butter. Show some other aspects to their game. It was the same with Zelalem back in the day - despite his obvious ability to pick out a defence splitting pass (at preseason and youth level), he literally offered nothing else.
Eddie wonāt get into the picture based purely on his goal scoring just yet - heās not close to Auba, or Laca, so can he work as hard and be tactically disciplined when he needs to as say Welbeck? Can we trust him to do a job for the team holding up the ball and linking up play when he comes on as a sub, and not be too anxious about scoring a goal himself? He has a lot to learn still, and he has to realize that he is still quite young and needs to be patient while he develops his game.
