He's got 2 years left, will probably get a contract this year but let's not get too carried away. There are several 'exciting' talents playing youth football for all major clubs, but the talents that garner attention are the ones like Mbappe or Dembele who actually have some first team football to show for it.
You don't think the next Mbappe and Dembele are attracting attention, especially considering how much these two cost? Just looks at the scramble to sign Jadon Sancho when it became clear he's not signing for City despite their huge salary offer. Talent is talent, it's obvious when someone has it, how it develops is another matter.
Everyone is fully aware of the cautionary tale, even Mbappe and Dembele could yet go down the Wilshere path, there's no such thing as a sure thing. Doesn't mean it's against the law to get excited about unearthing a potential diamond.
