I just don't think Ramsey has the qualities (yet) to start in CM in games against a top pressing side like Dortmund or Bayern. He can't quite play one-touch, dribble out of trouble, or quickly switch the field at the necessary level. He's a great CM in the PL because there's more space, he makes a ton of tackles, and scores from deep runs. Dortmund showed his weaknesses/immaturity and Wenger should have started Rosicky or Wilshere alongside Arteta IMO, and Ramsey should have played further up the field. That back four was for the taking if we were able to carry the ball through midfield more effectively. More a lineups issue than a squad issue for me, although having a midfielder like Cabaye in the squad certainly would have helped.
