Ozil's signing really does put a different complexion on things. With Flamini in too i think our midfield is basically sorted in terms of quality and depth. The "3" behind the striker is the best in the league now and the 5 as a unit has the potential to be something special.
I'm starting to like Giroud but with no alternative there i'm worried. He'll probably be run into the ground. Obviously we should be on the lookout for a striker but if it was up to me i'd loan one in January (presuming Bendtner is of little use) and go all out for Reus in the summer. I think he'd be lethal there and it would mean Giroud could be used plenty with Reus playing in other positions.
Hopefully Szczesny shows what he's made of. I like the lad but far from convinced he should be our no 1. Seen a bit of Viviano at Fiorentina and i'm not a fan. Might have to buy next summer - no pussying about, just go for the best available if Szczesny isn't up to it.
As for the defence i think we're just one squad player short. If injuries hit we might have to buy in January. I think Vermaelen will be off next summer so i hope we're on the lookout for a CB.
