I'd be pretty relieved if we got Williams that quickly. Should have just coughed up the £10m they wanted at the start of the summer. I'm sure we'd pay more now.

For those who wanted Podolski to come on, I've given up on him already. He's settled into the Gervinho role of the great "hope" that sits on the bench and underwhelms when on the pitch. Wenger benches him for a reason.

The squad is ridiculously thin.

Before Wenger started benching him Podolski was doing pretty well.

Podolski is fine, he's a German international with a ridiculous amount of caps, ludicrous to compare him with Gervinho.

I think everyone will be fit for the CL. Wenger will play them on painkillers for this one.

Podolski is average, and fortunately Wenger realizes it as well. Don't know what the fuss is about.

I think people also need to realise even if we sign a few players now, they are going to take time to adapt. They are not going to be sudden saviours for us. Our performances and results are going to be underwhelming for awhile.

Lets just hope we get to the CL.

Plus from today - "Wenger: "Gibbs has a deep cut, Sagna, Rosicky has a problem. Ramsey has a problem with a kick on his ankle."
