This is what Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs could look like with their best players on the field together, assuming Bale and Suarez stay. I haven't watched our rivals' preseason games so I don't know how they plan to play, but have taken a stab. Discuss who looks strongest (minus bench, where Spurs will probably win).

lol, thanks, Dula. I knew there was something wrong. i like what Spurs have done with the base of their midfield. if we added Pauinho to our midfield in place of Arteta or Ramsey, I think we'd be in a great position

Spurs have a lot of physical players but lack creativity. They'll come unstuck as they continue to rely on moments of brilliance from bale

Wouldn't swap Ramsey for paulinho

i actually think people are sleeping on Liverpool a bit.
Aspas is a really good addition to the frontline. If Gerrard, Coutinho and Leiva can click, then they have one of the best balanced central midfields in the league. A lot would depend on Suarez's work ethic, but I can see them being firmly in the 4-6 place conversation with us and Spurs.

This is impossible, we will almost never have our best 11 available.

Exactly. Scratch the surface of the Arsenal team, and we'll be the first to fall apart.

Agreed. Think we marginally have the best first choice 11 of the three but the worst squad. By quite a long long way aswell. Once again Wenger has gone into the season assuming no injuries will happen then when the first couple do we'll hear that age old excuse that "we couldn't have planned for ... to be out for so long."

Liverpool has a decent 11, but they lack any kind of depth. Ofcourse they have no european football so that will probably help them.

Spurs is quite scary. But if Bale goes they have a big job in making the whole squad gel and finding new leaders in it.

In a season prediction i put us down for 4th with 75 points, Spurs 5th with 68 points, Liverpool 6th with 64 points.

If Suarez stays, we failed to sign any notable players at the end of the transfer window, I could easily see Spurs finishing 4th, Liverpool 5th and us 6th.

Would Wenger be sacked at the end of such a season?

No, but his contract will have thankfully ran out.

He'll be rewarded with an extension for maintaining the profit. We have already planned for missing out on CL after all.

Liverpool look quite good actually, I'm a big fan of Sturridge too.

Our First XI is probably the best, but our squad is poor.

if you look at the players that actually transferred so far, it's not crazy to think we could've had jovetic and gustavo for about 40m.
