It's my superiority complex kicking in. Southampton should not be able to match us, let alone look like the better team. My brain registers that as overrun especially as i noted a lot more than a couple of mistakes from a couple of players.

Not really....most of the players removed are out on loan/sold/released

We've removed 4-5 added only one so we can still keep him on. Wonder why miyaichi was put off it though.

So do you people feel that its fine to have such a cosmopolitan squad or that there is a definite advantage in being more homogeneous?
I'm speaking purely in terms of squad togetherness, our lot seem a happy bunch of lads.

Gibbs doesn't mention the British group? I am sure there is one too. Leaders and characters do make a huge difference even if squads are largely heterogeneous. We have some in Arteta, Mertesacker, Flamini, Vermaelen.

As Gibbs says we seem to have a few clusters of nationalities aside from the beautiful, injury prone British core. So I think the key to happiness is homogenous heterogeneity.

In every class in school or college there's groups that get on well together every team is the same. ManUs treble squad was all in clicks with English, Portuguese speakers, Irish lads it's not a big deal.

Our left side is always attacked by the opponents. Nobody ever has a go at Sagna because he's a boss. Cazorla is very weak physically and neither of our LBs are near the standard of Sagna. Perhaps it's time to play a forward on the left, (REUS), with Wilshere/Santi right.
