I have always had high hopes of Diaby. What he lacks can only be learned through playing time, so much of which he missed at that young age. Huge talent, so much so that Matt Spiro on twitter the other day suggested he was a certain pick for Euro 2012 even when Nasri wasn't, even after having missed so much playing time. Wenger persists with him, surely there is something to him which sadly may not ever be seen now. I hope though he has finally recovered. A potentially great career wrecked by a mindless idiot.
I haven't seen the tackle myself again, but if i remember correctly didn't Abou walk to the touchline with a broken leg? I remember thinking, the 20 year old boy must have some spirit.
