A high percentage of Theo's crosses are extremely good in my opinion and him not finding anyone hasn't got anything to do with the quality of the cross but the number of players that we have in the box.
A cross is just like any other pass. There should be a target. Who the hell is he passing to if we don't have players in the box?
I think that is a different discussion on whether he should come back, but if he does the opportunity is lost too as opposition gets enough men the box too.
If you agree though that he puts a cross with pace into dangerous areas then why don't we have men attacking it, we play with two other forwards and an attacking midfielder.
I am not saying Djourou has a good cross but look what it did at Marseille. He put it in early with pace and curl inside a box with three defenders on both Gervinho and Van Persie and the lose ball fell invitingly for Ramsey.
I would say Walcott needs more support and a bit more committment from other players and suddenly those crosses start looking good.
A key to good crosses is also how early they are put in, there isn't much point crossing if you have to come back all the time.
