If he had been half as useful in the latter part of the season as he was in the opening months, we would've walked the league. We need him to rest up this summer and come back ready to mount a season-long charge.
It's interesting though. Across the entire league, nobody really managed to have an entire season of greatness. All the best players (Nasri, van Persie, Nani, Berbatov, Hernandez, Vidic, Rooney, Silva, Tevez, vd Vaart, Adam) were only good for half a season or less. Wilshere, Parker and Modric had more sustained high levels of performances, but never really reached the peaks of the above players.
