I swear he has lost some pace. He was rapid around 4 years ago when he came into the limelight. Doesn't seem to drive at the opposition as much now like in those clips. Hope he can adjust to the demands of this league and start doing that more here.

Seems clear that he's not settled/out of confidence with us so far. If we can some how get Ozil playing that kind of football again, I think we've got a real chance of winning the league.

Until we sort out the team it's a bit like putting a Ferrari engine in a Volkswagen. You gotta wonder what he's thinking as it becomes increasingly clear that Giroud and Sanogo are our only strikers for the second year running.

I've noticed wengs seems to "simple down" players games a lot. Has his reasons no doubt, mainly going for what he believes to be maximum efficiency, but Mesut, Arshavin, Chambo, and Santi all had mad game when they first signed. Now all seem far less exhilarating

Not on Wengs that. It's the players that have got to figure out how to play effectively as a team, without totally repressing their own individual flair.

The true greats always figure it out.
