He's given us so much since coming back. Really added another dimension to our attack which has been flat and unimaginative of late.

We could be really something special if Ramsey/Wilshere/Chamberlain all continue the upward trajectory they're on. Can't see any of them ever wanting to leave as long as they're playing enough.

Yep, all Arsenal boys. How many clubs have a U23 trio as talented as ours? Bayern have Gotze/Thiago/Alaba, can't think of anyone else.

Not many. If we add Draxler this summer we'll have a really strong crop of young players who are coming to maturity, Özil, Koscielny, and hopefully a new centre forward who are at the peak age, and solid veterans in Per, Sagna, Arteta, Cazorla, Rosicky, etc.

We've got to really look at the CB/RB positions though. Can't have Per/Sagna ageing at the same time and having to replace both in the same season.

Replacing Vermaelen gives us a good chance to sign a Mertesacker heir. Wenger should at least be targeting that type of player.

Didn't expect him to be so important so soon. Walcott's injury opening up a World Cup place and time to cement a starting spot at Arsenal were great incentive.

I agree. Wierd but true and i think it is a by-product of his competitive nature.

Even though Henderson was better than him at keepy-uppies, then, i can imagine him continuing to practice till he beats him.
This type of drive is what has propelled CRonaldo to the top and hope it works for him.

tbf, Pool now have Sturridge, Henderson, Sterling who are quaity. Flannygan must be their version of Jenko.

I'd imagine Barca and Real have crap tonne of great youth but they're not restricted on their local recruitment like English clubs are.

Hoping to keep him here for another good number of years actually. He have a great attitude, and his versatility helps us as well. If only we rotate him better to give him more games so he would be happy to stay.

Barcelona, Bayern, Madrid have better U23s than us. Other than that can't think of anyone else.
