I've been very impressed with the way he's moved across the field in his appearances for West Brom so far. Drops deep a lot and really lifts their game. Quality distribution through the centre even if the end product is lacking. I wonder if Wenger sees him as a centreforward eventually. He's got the technique and the workrate that's needed for the role at least.

Impressed with Ramsey's performance, less so with Vela's. Just seemed a bit more of the same that we're used to with the kid. Really had high hopes for the lad when he first signed with us, I just hope he can learn how to impose himself on games rather than always being on the peripheries with a flick here or a run there.

Vela won't make it with us. He's not explosive and as loyan says he fails to impose himself on games

Funny thing is he used to be proper explosive. Such a quick burst of speed and top speed and he was holding off the likes of Chris Morgan, Gary Naysmith and Mario Melchiot for fun in those early Carling Cup games for us when he first arrived.

I wouldn't write him off yet.

Nasri has only just became explosive this season and Vela has two years on him, so I wouldn't put it past the Mexican to develop in this department. He's also officially the 2nd fastest player in the squad.

He does fail to impose himself on the game, but that's why he's on loan. Getting some PL experience and game time under his belt will only do him good.

As far as I'm concerned, he has the raw ability and talent to make it here.

Vela is explosive enough. Like est says, the raw ability is there. He's still only 21 too. He'll develop massively the next two seasons. He might not make it here in the end, but he'll make it somewhere. If we let him go I've got a feeling that we're gonna regret it even more than United regret that they sold Rossi.

Oh, they regret it alright. Rossi is a fantastic player nowadays. Would walk straight into their team, and he's still young.

If Vela can be a success at Brom he will make it here definitely. Key is that Brom plays him on the right which will aid his development alot.

Used to think he is good at dribbling but watching the videos he looks awkward...

Think it has more to do with his limited options when he recieves the ball. He's gifted enough to do what he feels like with it. From his limited appearances this season alone, these two solo numbers spring to mind:

Good to listen to is our Johan. Intelligent guy, and that 26 game unbeaten stat is pretty remarkable.

Don't think the 26 game run is a fluke either. He seems to have that aura about him, that every great defender has.

Wilshere is looking more comfortbale in the side each week. Soon will boss things week in week out.

Great performance from Jack. Should be a big contender for the team of the season right? Which got me wondering about whether or not Cesc got in the PFA team at the end of any of his fist few seasons?

Also, Klaus, have your changed your mind about Wilshere's passing ability now?
