We looked fine for a newly stitched side up until West Ham away before the international break, didn't we? We lost against Chelsea at home but to two awful goals.
I think Wenger did struggle to play both Wilshere and Cazorla in the same XI. We did look more vulnerable defensively with him in the side and his lack of end product means once he moved behind the striker we missed some creativity.
I am not contesting Wilshere's talent here at all nor his committment. He looked interested everytime he played but merely that we weren't that much better overall with him in the side than without him. In theory a player of his ability should significantly be improving us but it didn't happen.
Hope he will move back to central midfield next season. Easier to be positionally disciplined than develop a final ball in my opinion.
