Anyone else see the Arsenal-Chelsea reserve game?
Miquel proved how good he actually is after having to play alongside Hajrovic with no shield in front of him in the youth cup. Outstanding on the ball. Wonder whether Wenger will ever be tempted to push him into midfield though, lacking strength as a CB and technically he was probably better than all but Vela on that pitch yesterday.
Still don't understand why Eastmond is even still at the club, but maybe the loan spell will prove something. Vela was obviously far too good when he could be bothered to attack players.
Sunu was probably just man of the match ahead of Miquel. Played in a box-to-box role oddly enough, and was brilliant. Pace and power and clearly too comfortable at reserve league level. Needs a loan somewhere but can't see him making it here either. And Thomas Cruise was, predictably, the worst player on the pitch.
