I think Dules is right, Yaya. Need to separate the heavy/clumsy movement impression (he also holds his body in a lethargic, walrus like fashion that makes it look worse), for where he actually places himself. In the last appearances (at least) his readiness and anticipation, opening himself for the pass, initiating and executing 1-2's (but also moving to support the pass option from the back) were quite obvious.
I particularly like all the above as (unlike quite a few other players in recent times) he's not doing this via playing backwards, far from the danger area - on the contrary: he seems to have a strong tendency to play forward in most situations, even when threatened/pushed.
