i don't trust higuain and rooney to be professional and maintain proper fitness as it becomes harder with age. he looked pretty heavy in that pic at the napoli airport. those kinda players scare me, especially with the amount you have to spend just to acquire them.

So versatile. Played on both wings and through the centre as well throughout the match. Despite his small size he don't get pushed around and worked superbly hard throughout the match, although I have to say this isn't his best performance in a shit tight match.

The commentator on Fox Soccer South America (here in the States) said that Bernard was headed to Arsenal on a transfer during the game. Take it for what you will, he could have crap sources or could know what the deal is. Regardless I think we find out very quickly if we have him or not. Could be a really quality addition to the squad in my opinion. Add Suarez to him and we have a potent attacking rotation.

On Bernard, looks like quite a player overall, but he doesn't really have a defined role and he was everywhere in today's game. Great work rate/engine.
