theres no way a club buys a 42.5m player without the owner signing off on it. it's not some elaborate ceremony, and it's not like kroenke stayed up for 5 sleepless nights waiting by the phone to approve the deal - there is a thing called email. was prob approved in advance once things got to a certain point.

Surely Suarez is even further out of the question mid-season. Unless Liverpool start absolutely tanking it and Rodgers is sacked, or out of favour. Same goes for other PL options like Rooney.

I think we might actually go for Suarez again. But If VP is offered, wouldn't put it beyond him to take him back. Good poll question: who would you rather have/avoid: VP or Suarez?
I'm not even sure myself. If it's a given that we must have one of them, I guess I'd take Suarez - hell, at least we'll take the younger one.
