We want to think of ourselves as a big club but we need to act like one. The big clubs don't fuck around trying to penny pinch every summer, trying to stick to principles about spending money and not paying over the odds. Bayern paid over the odds for Martinez and won it all, I don't see anyone complaining now. You move with the times or you get left behind and that is what has happened. We are sitting nearly as much cash as the whole Premier league combined yet we can't find any players to improve us. Barely got enough players to put a team together as we have so many injuries on top. If we want Suarez a £50mill bid should of gone in weeks ago to get it done, others would of followed after that. We'll make other clubs pay over the odds for our players but point blank refuse to do the same.
I'm probably just venting because I'm a bit pissed off right now but the man does himself no favours at all. We have made so many sacrifices to get ourselves into this position and what a damn shame if he throws it all away. Probably needed this loss to kick the board and manager up the arse, we shouldn't need that though.
