Aye, but it's just as much because he's been too stubborn to get any real sort of help as it is his skills in management.

We all agree on that, Wenger is the cheap wallpaper over the cracks keeping the whole rotten façade together.
But Wenger is a triple curse, not only is he not good enough to win a European title because of his lack tactical flexibility and not only is he afraid to spend the sums we all know are available, but the very fact that he is the manager attracts these corporate leeches who just want to milk us.
We've all seen the situation at work- The people who never complain but just knuckle down and can be relied on to get the difficult jobs done get all the shit dumped on them while the shirkers and incompetents are given the nice handy tasks that they "couldn't possibly" fuck up.

Wenger has not only made a rod for his own back but for ours also. :mad:

Well we'll have to assess all the comings and goings in August, :egg: but you know my position has always been that the team has fundamental faults in the way they're set up and play and that can't be fixed with 1-2 new signings playing their first season in the PL.

The other thing I wanted to say in relation to baron Greenback was talk doesn't cost anything, what his partner might say to one audience (a business one in this case) is not what he would say to us, as usual its acts not words that count all we know are Kroenke's (non) acts but not the barons.

We know that after Kroenke bid, Usmanov's counter-offer to the then owners wasn't tempting enough to overcome the moral scruples of a few dying Tories.

There's a pretty significant non-act.

Biggus honest question here, is your dislike for Wenger stronger than your like for Arsenal? I've got a feeling, if Wenger makes brilliant signings and manages to win us the league you still won't be happy.
