I don't see what the big news is, anyone with half a brain has known what the situation is for a long time......Follow the trail of money.
Kroenke Gazidis and Wenger have taken control of our club and used it to enrich themselves, they've done this by a combination of charging the highest ticket prices in football and limiting investment in the team, standard sensible business practice minimum input maximum return = profit, it's not for his football "expertise" that Wenger is the highest paid manager in the PL..
Kroenke provides the capital Wenger curtails the expenditure and Gazidis sprouts the bullshit.
Its a wonderful golden goose that keeps on giving who's going to want to kill it?
Well only those that miss out and are starving- that's us fans, only we have the power to change this situation.

That's not even close to standard business practice. Most large businesses invest a lot in order to maximise returns. Same applies here, if we want to maximise our commercial and financial potential we need to become the best.

Oh I certainly agree it's not very enlightened or forward looking, many of the top businesses strive to be the best but most just want the quick buck its tough out there Otf.
Look at who Kronke is- He knows nothing nor cares anything about English football he has no cultural or emotional ties to the game or club he's married to mrs Wal-Mart ffs......

oh and kroenke's nuggets just fired their coach because he got bounced in the first round of the nba playoffs. he won coach of the year too. well it's technically his son since he had to transfer ownership so that he could buy the st. louis rams.

He doesn't need to. As an investor short term profits mean very little to Kroenke, he'll want to maximise the clubs valuation. The only way to do that is to make the club grow, and the only way to do that in football is to be successful on the pitch.

I reckon all three of them are very ambitious people. But their ambition is contaminated with prudence.

That explanation of our policies and our financial position by Gazidis is the best possible explanation that we, as Arsenal fans, could wish for.

But, it is time now to put the words into action and show us that we are indeed financially ready to compete with the very best clubs. No-one wants 50 million signings but surely there are top quality players to be picked in the 20-30 million bucket!
