I'd hate him but as long as he does what he does best and gives his all (which he always does), I think he'll win me and most of the fanbase over. They'll be times where we'll be embarrassed to have on the pitch in the red and white but his brilliance will compensate for that somewhat.

For all the fans saying they would be disappointed if we sign him, as soon as he starts banging in the goals I bet most will have already forgiven him. Just the way the majority of fans are.

At least, wait till the link becomes remotely realistic.

There is no guarantee we'll bid 40 million for him. There is no guarantee Liverpool for sell for that (do not trust this release clause thing). There is no guarantee Madrid or Chelsea or even City won't come calling (the only circumstance in which we can get him) We are too far away from him to start being remotely "objective" about him.
