Verms and Kos are light as fuck :o

eh? they don't need to be heavyweights

They're roughly 75kg, that is ridiculously light for guys who are over 6'

Tommy V is 6ft, Kosh an inch taller. 75kg is something like an ideal weight.

Completely different sports of course, but at my peak as a flanker I was very mobile and agile at 80kg while only being 5'9". Not overly bulky either, I had a low bf% and visible abs while at that weight. Still "lean" as Dules would probably put it.

I'm currently 75kg, and find it hard to believe that elite sportsmen in the CB position are my weight.

Weight would probably make a big difference in the air, and also while playing against target men who play with their back to goal. Kos' weight obviously isn't a huge detriment to his game, I'm just surprised that's all.

Just saying that they seem a bit light for their size and position. Weight is always useful, in rugby and in football.

I was curious and looked up some other heights and weights, Chiellini surprises me greatly.

Koscielny - 186cm - 75kg
Vermaelen - 183cm - 75kg
Chiellini - 187cm - 78kg
Silva - 183cm - 79kg
Ramos - 183cm - 81kg
Kompany - 196cm - 83kg
Piqué - 192cm - 85kg
Vidic - 194cm - 88kg
Mert - 198cm - 90kg
Terry - 187cm - 90kg

Those guys would get wrecked if they played hockey (assuming their skating skills were equivalent). Height and weight are way more important in some sports compared to football.

Those guys would be well up against it in synchronised swimming
