Gustavo or Bernard? If you can bring only one of them here.
Gustavo, if we somehow land Higuain.
Bit of an odd question.

Fabregas.
What?
Question's a bit subject to various other conditions, yes.
I'd go gustavo. I still feel we are vulnerable to being outmuscled I'm certain games
Gustavo and a class striker, and I am going to call it our best window in ages.
"If we don't bring anyone else" make us look weak up front, which would make me go Bernard. But as others hinted, we need Gustavo and a striker. Like Rex, that would make me very happy (in striker I mean striker, not Sanogo).

amen. with the amount of deadwood we've shifted, if we add the above as well, it's on par with the petit/overmars summer.
Havent heard from a single credible source that we are even in for him, so its highly unlikely we are getting him.
How can you still trust these credible sources after Higuain? coughacquisitioncoughcough*
he's said he wants to stay on the bayern gravy train.
wish we could.
Regardless of whether Gustavo wants to stay Bayern may look to offload. On the face of it they have too many midfielders in their squad.
I think his days were numbered the minute they signed Rode. He's more comfortable on the ball, younger and German. Gustavo is the better player but he's the odd man out in the starting eleven. It makes sense to get rid while his market value is high.

Lets not go down that street again Klaus.
Whats the deal with Rode? I thought he had signed but it hasn't been announced yet. I presume he's back at Frankfurt for pre-season.
I think they're negotiating at the moment. Either he'll join this summer or when his contract is up next year. It's a weird situation but both Bayern and Armin Veh have confirmed that he's going there sooner or later. I think Frankfurt has an option to extend one year or something like that.
Gotta say, it's an uncharacteristic signing for Guardiola though. My guess is that it's a player who the Bayern boardroom wanted more than the new manager did.
Rode is done, he will move next summer.

One of those signings that make too much sense for it not to happen? Good player, versatile, for sale at 15m and hungry to prove that he's worthy of starting for Brazil in the WC. We need a DM and a CB and he can fill out both positions not to mention he's a good LB as well if need be.
From Twitter..
According to Gustavo Agent on Austrian Radio Channel Bayern Munich have Agreed 18 Million Arsenal Bid.
I'll believe it when he's standing next to Wenger with the number 30.
Please god be true

If GeoffArsenal hasn't tweeted about it then it's not official

I'll believe it when their chairman tweets insults at us.

I don't know how true some of quotes are, but he apparently said he loves the premierleague, and watches Arsenal, waiting for us to make a move.
This geoff guy is useless.
He has had £70m burning a hole in his pocket for the past 6 months and only has a sanogo to show for it.
When people say 'on twitter' can they say if it was tweeted by a journalist, a serious journalist, an arsenal blogger, a twelve year old or whoever. By now it's like saying 'on the internet'.
The quotes were from a German radio station.
What quotes?

Brad @BradArsenal 14h
Luiz Gustavo: "However, like yourself I do not know what is happening on the other side at this moment" "I love their [Arsenal's] style of play and I have been watching them for some time now" "I believe that the English Premier League is of top quality and Arsenal definitely stand out" [Bayerischer Rundfunk Radio]
I'll just echo my last two posts in this thread:
Sign him up!
So once we sign Gustavo, Rooney and Suarez, we must be among the favourites, right?
