Those teams would not go out of their way to sign Cazorla or Walcott. Neither moves the bar for them. That's all I was saying. The only transfer to those 3 teams that could potentially improve them is Wilshere to United, but even then the boy's level is not clear.

Valencia and Walcott have about 80 minutes difference in how much they played last season. Either way Walcott is simply better. His goals and assists put him right up there with the top wingers in the league (barring the one man team).

As things stand, we'll be lucky to get 4th, Spurs with Bale are better than us.

One injury to Arteta, Cazorla, Giroud, or Koscielny, and we're fucked.

Season starts on Saturday and the squad is ridiculously thin and lacking in quality, fucking unbelievable. We've completely missed our chance to capitalise upon the premiership manager merry-go-round and our staggering cash reserves.

Fuck Wenger.

I think that at this point, Walcott is about as good as any of the guys United plays wide or in support of RVP other than Kagawa and Rooney. But would he improve them? Given that he is not better than Rooney and Kagawa and not materially better than Valencia or Nani, I don't think he would improve them. People forget that 3 years ago, Valencia was arguably United's best player for about 6 months, and 2 years ago, Nani was the best player for about 3-4 months as well.

Over the past three years Walcott has been more effective than Nani or Valencia. Also Walcott has a terrific understanding with van Persie.

I don't think Walcott would struggle for suitors but not many clubs would make him their main forward.

😆 the hyperbole comment was referring to myself, not you!
You are right Valencia was sh!t last season (which happened to be Walcott's best season ever after numerous shit ones) but on the whole, he has been brilliant for them, so much so that he dislodged Nani from their first team. According to Wiki, he had missed their entire pre-season last year as he was coming off the 2nd serious injury (fractured ankle?) in as many seasons so that must have been a factor. It also states that he was their player of the year the previous season so big boots for Walcott to fit.

I'm yet to fully enter a Wenger in/Wenger out camp as I feel our woes extend beyond him. But as each season, and failed off season, goes by its harder and harder not to see how Wenger is handicapping us.

Of course our troubles won't be at an end the day after he leaves, it'll be difficult for the new manager because the rotten roots of atrophy are sunk so deeply into the fabric of the club for the last 17 years, the Wenger culture of loserdom will have to be ripped out piece by piece.
Nobody has any illusions about how difficult it will be, but at least it'll be a project that all Arsenal fans can get together and support.
It'll have our goodwill and should be given time- Thats one thing we Arsenal fans are better at than others.

That is such utter bullcrap. Wenger brought English football out of the stone age. He absolutely revolutionized the game in England. We all want him gone these days but there is no need to belittle his achievements.
