People seem to be seriously underrating United on the basis of a dodgy start with a new manager too. It's United, they'll be there or thereabouts come May.

I still think United will win the league and we will finish top 4 - prediction for me is 3rd. I thought early on that City would be the ones to really struggle this season, but their demolition of Utd has made me revise my opinion somewhat. City to finish 2nd and one of Chelsea, Spurs or Liverpool to finish 4th. Would be funny to see Chelsea flop.

And belief, and blind faith in the coach, and unity (how long before Shrek jitters resurface?) - it could click, but it also has the potential to go horribly wrong. I'm not a great believer in "it's United, they always get there in the end". To me they are a VP injury away from disaster.
What I'd really, really like is for us to beat them, and I mean really, convincingly crush them (a la City). and if possible do the double on them. How long since that happened?

Spurs can't even score more than one goal a game, that will eventually catch up to them. Like it did for us last season

we need the points gap anyway to help us through that difficult period after international break when we have Dortmund, Napoli, Chelsea(?) and United (?) in a fortnight.
hopefully, at that point, Rosicky and Cazorla are back. we need Podolski as well, so we can have someone to allow Giroud to miss a game or two

Nah, we just have to keep winning despite not playing at our best, that really depresses the opposition.

i havent bought a kit in years but thought briefly of getting that today. the good vibes are back - i'm just hoping we stay injury-free and get our players back.

Several long months ahead before anything is decided....We have a shot at trophies if we stay reasonably healthy, no more than 3 or 4 out at one time, Wenger rotates his players during the difficult weeks of December January ties, and we get a top notch striker in January...If those things come together we might be in the picture...It's the first time in 8 seasons that I feel something different with this team....Part of it is the chemistry among players, and the attitude that we will fight to the end....They are probably sick and tired of 4th place as we are....Arsenal can have a very good season if Wenger doesn't gamble with overplaying certain players...Get the class striker, Arsene...
