This season, I think it would be better for Wilshere to play deep in midfield alongside Arteta or Flamini, or to play as LWF. He's not ready to be given an AM slot considering the options we already have, but he does need to build up his fitness with as many minutes in the first team as possible as he has the ability to be world class. Personally I would like to see him operate closer to goal as a LWF and ensure he doesn't throw himself into challenges unnecessarily.
I like our attacking options now, but one of the concerns I have is that we are heavily reliant on Walcott to provide the pace option in our team. We have some great technical players to take his place which would no doubt work on most occasions, but I get the feeling that Wenger will try as much as possible to incorporate Walcott into the starting line-up, regardless of form, to offer the more direct counter-attacking threat.
