Personally I think it's a little too early to judge Flamini since he's not had a pre season

You don't need to spend £40m in that position. You can get a better player than Flamini for much less.

Of course they are still more expensive than free...

But overall, the two additions in midfield are spot on. Think I said before that I don't mind missing a striker if we get a top no.10 and somebody to fill Arteta's role and that's exactly what we did, so smiles all round.

He trained with the team for 3 weeks before playing in the spurs game. By all accounts, his fitness and desire to play was what most impressed wenger.

Whilst he didnt have a full pre-season, he did have a lot of time to gel with the players.

That's what Shilton should have done! I reckon England would have won the world cup that summer had Henry been the England goalkeeper. Henry has always been great getting to the ball with his hands. Just ask the Irish...

I just cant see Barcelona going far in Europe with their current defense. Not buying a new defender this summer was an extremely shocking decision by them.

He started that run from behind the half-way line too which is why no one from Roma could keep up and present an option in the box. That run sums him up pretty well.

He's half of a brilliant player.

Still, used regularly he will get numbers even if he frustrates.

The other half of that player would be pretty fucking annoying.

Genius finisher with the nerves of Clint Eastwood but the foot speed of John Candy, who never ever gets into a goalscoring position.
