Thats what i think too.
FWIW I think this is bollocks. The Times run a bullshit padding article about us being interested with the usual 'first in the race' waffle and goal have taken it one step further.
Fellaini has done a good job as a 'destroyer' against us a few times.
He's a bit of an oaf and loses the had a bit too easily, but he's a good player.
Not that I couldn't see him playing midfield in a pinch, or dropping back there as we hold onto a lead, but if we're paying anything like that kind of money for him it'll be for his goals.

Yeah, they need a big presence in the centre of their midfield as well. There was some news about him trying to get De Rossi, however.
I hope they get De Rossi, doesn't seem to want to leave Roma and can't see him having the same, drive commitment anywhere else. Would be a shadow of the player.
4 pages in an hour? I read through the thread thinking it must nearly be a done deal!
I'd take him for what it's worth.. I'd imagine he'd take Ramsey's role.
I don't think he's overpriced btw, quality players cost money and Fellaini has a skillset that is very unique.
Course he's overpriced. Any half decent PL player is, that's why Wenger normally doesn't go for them
As others have said, if we want a DM we could get Lars Bender or others for less than £15 million. If we want an AM/Striker and are willing to spend £25 million we might as well go for Rooney or Michu. So in that sense he is overpriced. Cheaper DM's are equal to or better than him and similar priced AM's are better than him.
Don't think he'd come as a deep lying or offensive midfielder, think he'd take Ramsey's role.
Would definitely mean Gervinho's leaving.
That many bad haircuts in the same team would probably trigger the end of the world - the coiffure equivalent of crossing the beams.

It was amazing. Everytime i hesitated on a reply, 5 or 6 posts dropped.
Fresh new rumour about a player who's rated and already playing in the upper half of the PL 🙂 Bound to get us talking. Even if in reality the only fact in that Times article was that Fellaini has a release clause... Nothing at all to suggest that our reported interest is anything more than The Times just throwing our name into the mix. Wouldn't rule it out completely but mostly I think Wenger would combust before paying that kind of money for Fellaini. Then again if he rates him highly and as a long term, reliable replacement for his lost son Diaby he just might go for it.
I'd fucking love Fellaini, don't care about the price, he'd be awesome 😃
Think he's a pretty magnificent player on form. The kind of midfielder we lack, all he needs is discipline and he shines, its when he gets frustrated and loses his head that he turns into a lumbering oaf looking for a red.
What sort of wages we talking here? Ton a week?
Probably, as Everton can't be paying that much. Problem is other suitors may offer more.
Im really skeptical about this. Doesnt seem to fit our technical game at all. Only if Wenger really sees him as Diaby replacement, but is he? Price seems about right though, he is proven in PL and right age.

We have guys like Giroud, Walcott, and Sagna starting regularly for us. Fellaini wouldn't be out of place.
