Fair play, you don't think his attitude is an issue. But there's plenty of history and evidence to suggest that it could be a legitimate concern at least for some of us. You don't have to call people names for not sharing your view.

No one knows what goes on inside his head. Good observation. What we do know is that Balotelli hardly gives the impression that he gives 100% on the pitch. We also know he's had bust ups with teammates and managers and that Milan fans and legends such as Maldini and Costacurta have criticized him heavily for his lack of effort. That's not an "invention". He was also playing like a guy whose biggest wish was to get sent off when he played for City at the Emirates. That stamp on Song was brutal.

Yes he can mature and become one of the absolute best strikers around but do we really want to buy that lottery ticket?

Edit: Thankfully Wenger seemingly doesnt.

Balotelli thinks he's too good for football. It's my opinion he won't ever really change and I want a striker brought in with a bit of stability.. I can't shake the feeling Balotelli's stay here if we were to sign him would be very short. I really don't agree Arsenal are the club he's gonna magically settled down under either. He's trouble and won't be worth the hassle. This club has just won their first trophy in a decade and it feels like we are building towards something. Last thing we want to do is disrupt that by signing this clown.

And then for me personally there is just the plain fact he isn't anywhere near as great as people make him out to be and my mind has never once been changed on that. He was rubbish for City, he's rubbish every time I've seen him for Milan or Italy and even his compilations, renowned for making anyone look great, are very meh. I just don't see it. Give me Benzema over him any day.

I don't claim to know anything other than he's more talented by a country mile than anything we've got and that he seems like a fairly normal young male athlete who came under a lot of pressure early in life and is still paying for what was, all told, a fairly mild negative response.
