Meh, he's calling a spade a spade, and he's leaving in a month so he'll never work with those players again.

He may never get a decent managerial post after doing that which is, probably, for the better as he is shit. Really shit. Cow dung level shit.

He hammered them after the Italy game and went on and on about how 17 players could not make it to the Championship. What kind of manager sends the message to the players that they are second choice and are only playing because the better ones wouldn't come before a must-win game?

It's not like these players have been hammered by Germany or Spain, they were beaten by Norway and Israel. Obviously, if you team loses a game you are expected to win, the players have not performed well. But, whose responsibility is it to make sure that the team meets basic expectations?

Good riddance. Hopefully he never gets near another developmental team.

The most ridiculous thing about Pearce is his failure to understand his own job. He seems to think that he's managing the English B squad. He only has to do one thing and that is to inspire young players to fulfill their potential, however big or small it might be. They might struggle for a number of reasons on club level but the national youth team should be a place where they can find strength and encouragement. It's not about winning titles, it's about developing character. Can't have a complete fuckwit with a medieval attitude towards team sports running things on that level.

Pearce is only interested in furthering his own failed career as a manager; think in his world he thought he could get the big job if he delivered a title with the U-21s.

He probably was hoping to get the senior England job. He's an absolute disaster of a manager.

If he knew how to speak English, i could easily see him going down the Gareth Southgate route for failures to the shower of ineptitude known as ITV football.

An aggressive careerist who's not competent and distributes blame for his own faults. Bad combo.
