Unimpressive.
I can do that.

Pics or it didn't happen :p
Nice finish, but I was expecting something better tbh.

And my own personal favourite: "World Class".
I love "slalom". Because it usually means a really nice run occurred.
Who uses "slalom"?
Skiing commentators?
Wondered what football commentator used that word.
Probably a commentator for Fox Sports or something.
A "slamloming run" is a pretty standard term for commentators.
Tbf I learnt alot of terms from football commentary, quite refreshing at times.
Rohit wrote:Who uses "slalom"?
Commentators used to use it for Shava in the days when he could actually run
I used to slalom my way through fils on the dancefloor to get ma drink on at the bar

Obviously not in the nineties, otherwise you would be talking like Statto

Sounds like we already wrapped this one up.
I predicted 28th of June fot this in the announce first signing prediction thread.
Hmmm. 10 more days for it to be official.
Is Wenger on holidays?

Yep, done deal it would seem:
ESPN wrote:And the Frenchman said he could not wait to kick-start his career in the Premier League with the Gunners.
"It will be an amazing adventure," he added. "I am just eager to start in one of the best leagues in the world. It is a dream that has come true."
Exciting times!
He scored France's second in their 3-1 win over Ghana yesterday.

This kid scores when he wants.
I'm actually pretty excited about him participating in the League Cup and maybe coming off the bench from time to time.
Yeah, he may only be playing in League 2 and U20s, but, he is awfully consistent at scoring.
I guess, if you are big and strong and good enough technically at a particular level, you'd get a goal a game normally. Whether he is strong enough and good enough for Premiership is the key question, though.
You can see from his reels that he has a notably good first touch, not just a generically ok one. I think that's an excellent sign.
The more attentive and physical defending of the PL will slow him down considerably, the question will be if he can get past that. If he is going to lead the line, then pace and the ability to peel off a defender, receive the ball and score with composure will also be a big factor.
Guess I'm just saying "wait and see" there ...
He seems to be doing well, it depends on whether he can remain fit though...
France have sent quite a strong team for this. Pogba for instance is a full international.

Yet another annoying issue the last few years was not having a really exciting young striker coming through.
Probably a bit early to get excited about this guy too. That said, the best striker our academy has produced under Wenger has been Nick Bendtner.

What, no Quincy?
Actually, Aliadiere probably has a claim too.
Carlos Vela.
Those 3 ain't produced by our academy at all.
Vela should have amounted to so much more.
He's done well in Spain, he was never given the opportunity here, not really.
Does seem to score when he wants
Looks awkward to me though
He's yet to really fill out I think, he'll grow into his frame.
Was excited to hear he'd scored again.
Little less so seeing as it was a peno
I think the word you're looking for Dules is gangly. He looks gangly still.
That was a weird run up to the penalty spot. He's lucky it went in.
