Wouldn't surprise me if that's us done in the striker front. Giroud and Sanogo competing upfront next season.

I really like the best bits that we're seeing from him.
As long as his body doesn't fall apart over the next few seasons I'd be thinking he's going to become a force.

Auxerre chairman Guy Cotret told a French radio station: β€œHe will only loan him back to us if he considers the player is not ready to join his team after the pre-season preparations. Otherwise he will not loan him.”

This suggests that Wenger hopes to buy him for the first team.

Personally, and its just a hunch, i think that it means he will only loan him back if he considers the player is not ready to join the Arsenal first team after the pre-season preparations. Otherwise he will not loan him.

I think, you might be on to something here.

if he intended for him to be with the u21s next season his performance in pre-season wouldn't matter.

A lot of it comes down to pre-season preparations imo. If the player isn't ready after that he could end up going back on loan.

He said something similar about fringe players during pre-season last year.
Then Eisfeld played well in pre-season - but apart from the C1 Cup first team experience he sank back into reserves limbo.

Y va follows our pre-season in Austria from a caravan painted to resemble Ken Kesey's psychedelic bus. It's a yearly tradition.

Even though it's a three-week drive that ends with a boat trip on an oil tanker. Such commitment!

How does this guy compare to Joel Campbell?

Or Wellington for that matter?
