We already made Cesc stay an extra season, and between 'injuries' he was clearly putting in about 50% effort. Should we carry on like that indefinitely, or take the money?

RVP should have been made to stay, especially if the only other choice was to sell him to Utd. That was bullshit.

I agree, as Wenger would not have adequately replaced RVP anyway. If we would have combined the 25 mil with the warchest and signed Cavani or something then I would have been fine with Robin leaving.

rooney could be the ideal striker for us, if he can stay match fit. he's strong, a great link up player, he'll score goals and his movement is excellent. doubt we're getting him though.
