It can get ugly for UTD and it should be fun to watch. Fergie screwed up IMO. From what i can gather Utd WANT to keep Rooney and that is their stance both officially and unofficially. Rooney however wants the club to backtrack on the claim that he asked for a transfer request as he feels slighted/aggrieved at what he see's as an attempt by Fergie to push him around/malign him in the eyes of the fans. Also their is the question of wages.

PSG/RM seem the only options abroad with RM being more attractive with Carlo and Ronaldo. However if Arsene or Mourinho can convince him IMO both remain very realistic options!
